Getting this tot to hold still for a picture is nearly impossible.  All I wanted was one good picture.  One picture of her smiling and holding still.  One.  Not ten.  Just one shot.  After 20 tries or so I just had to laugh.  My little girl is just so busy...just like her mommy.  She has better things to do on her agenda than sit still and smile at a black piece of plastic that causes her to go temporarily blind.
After the classic "Ok Anya, sit on the couch and say 'cheese' " failed,
we tried, "jump on the couch like your a monkey".
Fail.
"Tickle monster".
Fail.
"Play with your new dump truck." and "Here's  a chocolate chip for you.  Sit and say please."
Fail and fail.  (At least the "please" looked sorta like a smile.)
In times like this I need to say to myself...Just breath mommy.  Don't stress the process, just enjoy the photos and smile.  They do capture my little girl pretty well!
P.S.  I love the one of the pillow.

Baby #2: 17 weeks
How Far Along: Second Trimester, 17 weeks, 5 days!
Size of baby: Around 5 inches long, weighs about 5 ounces (size of a turnip)
Maternity Clothes: I need them, but they are all with my sister in KY! We'll be picking them up in a few weeks when we meet Mary. The rubber band trick will have to do until then.
Gender: We find out March 27th at our Gender Reveal party! I'll be shocked either way, but maybe it's a boy???
Movement: I'm feeling movement everyday. Josh felt the baby kick yesterday!!!
Sleep: Great! I still take and need daily naps.
What I miss: Sleeping on my tummy.
Cravings: Sweets, fruit, and hamburgers
Symptoms: Headaches (never got them with Anya) and being tired
Best Moment this week: Going out to eat as a family to Famous Daves.
Pregnancy with Anya around this time: http://lifewlisa.blogspot.com/2010/12/baby-update-18-weeks.html
