This is how we spent our spring and summer.
On Anya's birthday we had family over and played outside.  It was a gorgeous day.  Mommy cried.  Her baby is ONE!
Playing at the library was the perfect thing to do on a rainy day.
Sweetheart roses from daddy to Anya.
Very first piggies!

Anya and Ariana...best friends!

Mr. DJ working out new equipment
Katie and I had a successful first experience at the flea market.  The next two times weren't as good...a tornado and severe storm that both just so happened to take place the first weekend of July and August.  I still remember the feeling of the gravel hit my legs...ouch!

One of our many wagon rides...

Anya's first accident.  She flipped forward on a scooter and hurt her face on the patio.  Poor baby!
Celebrating daddy's birthday before heading to Lake Geneva for the day.

Mommy got all of this for a DOLLAR!  What a steal!!!
We had our 2nd family camping trip (just us three) at the Michigan Dunes.  It was a great trip!

Climbing to the top of the dunes was hard work but totally worth it.  The view was beautiful!

Our tomato and herb garden.  We made lots of fresh salsa and spaghetti sauce.

Pingree Grove 4th of July party and parade.  Anya loved the animals.

Scarecrow fest in St. Charles was fun this year.  We decided to put Anya in her ladybug costume.  She was adorable!

Our flea market shop!!!
At the apple orchard, it was too late in the season to pick from trees so we picked apples from the shop.

Anya graduated to a booster seat.  She loves sitting with us at the table.  She's such a big girl!

We were blessed to meet Josh's biological mother this December!!
Christmas at Christ Community Church!  Anya loves the "choo choo".
Anya got everything needed to go sledding this year for Christmas.
And we'll end with this one.  Best hug ever!
What a great year it was.  Anya has grown a lot this year.  We are excited for all that the new year will bring!!
Happy 2013!
