I have MUCH to cover in my blog about what we have been through and have experienced in the last 6 1/2 weeks....like I said before it's been a CRAZY ride! I'll start with sharing our pre-craziness...and talk about Easter. We went to Cincinnati for my cousin's bridal shower, and then Easter was the next day. It was great to visit with family and see my Grandma again. Also watching all of the kids play together is always a highlight for us! I loved all of the baby cuddles I got with my little niece Anna Catherine at the bridal shower. She's a doll, and resembles my sister so much!!
Me with the beautiful bride! I can't wait for their wedding coming up next month!!!
It was a beautiful shower that my aunt hosted and I'm so glad I was able to be there for it! Living out of state can be so hard at times, missing out on things. I try to be a part of as much as I can!
Cindy with Anna. It was so good to see them right after visiting them a few weeks before. We've been spoiled lately!!
While we were at the bridal shower I get text from Josh (the Dads were on kid duty). First he says Ollie forgot his shoes. Lol! He's 1. Then he says Ollie went in the potty...as in sat right in the water with legs sticking straight up into the air, and Anya peed her pants and all over the floor since she couldn't go since Oliver went swimming in the potty. LOL! Love hearing Daddy babysitting stories!
For Easter we went over to my cousins house. It means so much to me that my Grandma is still here with us and that she knows my children. It's such a great blessing! And that's her sitting in the chair in the coral shirt. She's 83, doesn't dye her hair and literally has no wrinkles. at. all. Her secret to a wrinkle- free face: she washes her face with only water.
Easter Egg hunt for the kids...we had SO SO SO many eggs! It was crazy!
Ollie and his Pumpkin Basket ;) He just wanted to sit and eat the candy.
Anya was really getting into it!
It's so much fun being on this side of life, making memories for our kids.
Grandma and some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
