10 on 10::June 2014 {Moving Day}

I'm a VERY late on posting my tenth pictures...but I remembered...and it was moving day so I've been busy to say the least.

I'm glad the tenth fell on our moving day so that I have pictures to remember this day by...

{Morning Snuggles}
  Our last morning in our bed at our house.  I'm glad this picture turned out blurry because I'm a mess...

{Breakfast}
Josh made us breakfast.  I'm glad we decided to wait on packing all of our pans.

 {Recording}
 We transferred all of our kids heights from Anya's bedroom wall to their growth chart made by Aunt Katie.
{Explaining}
Josh told Anya to say "Bye Bye" to her room and that we were packing everything up to take it to our new house in Papa and Gigi's basement...a.k.a. "The Studio".  And the she preceded to say "bye bye" to every room in the house.

{Capturing}
Our last moment together in our house as a family (I couldn't back the tears in this moment.)  My wall collage was the last thing we packed up.

{625}
Our first house

{Unpacking}

{Cleaning}
I. love. my. Kirby.  If you have a Golden Retriever and toddlers...you need one of these. We bought ours for a fraction of the cost on Amazon.

{Exploring}
This little guy gets into everything now.  The oven was not on!

{Feeding}
While we were getting settled, Gigi helped feed the kids after she got off work.

It was a crazy busy tenth and I'm glad I could finally find time to post about it.
We are now settled in to our new space and loving it!

Memories were made...

This house holds many memories. Wednesday we say "good-bye" to our first home.  This is the place we started our second year of marriage, established our first "real" jobs, got our puppy, and brought our babies home to.  It's the place I learned to call home much more when I became a stay-at-home mommy.  The place where we had our first family vegetable garden, and added beautiful tulips and daffodils to the already landscaped yard...and then watched them bloom the day we brought Anya home from the hospital.  It's the place I had to be creative with decorating and storage.  This home holds thousands of memories: baking with Anya in the kitchen and watching her pull up a chair to the counter, dancing in the rain on the path, summer night walks before we had kids, swim days at the pool, playtime on the patio with our awesome pergola {best investment!} walks with our new puppy whom every neighbor loved, campfires in the yard, birthday parties, our "Tea for Three" shop's first sale in our garage, putting balloons on our mailbox after Oliver was born, rocking my babies to sleep, singing "Circle and dots" a song I made up for my kids that we would sing as we looked at their shower curtain, the corner of Anya's room that she has slept in since she was born Obviously I could go on and on.
I think out of everything I will miss my stone fireplace and tulips out front the most.  This house has been such a blessing to us.  How awesome is God to have given us a home to bring our babies home to?  A home that no one before us had called home.  How great is God that he would bless us with a beautiful, safe, community with a gorgeous rec center/ pool and parks?
Our first home will be missed...the payments will not be;)

I'm learning that it's the people that make a house a home.

Oliver is 10 Months!

Dear Oliver,
You are TEN months old!
It is becoming increasingly difficult to take a picture of you "holding still".  You may be my Mr. Chill Pill, but you are a monkey too and grab everything in sight.  Changing your diaper is near impossible, and you only want to crawl and climb in the bathtub.  You keep me busy!

This month you have mastering crawling, pulling yourself up, and cruising along furniture.  You put everything in your mouth.  I find it funny that even the tiniest piece of whatever you find you feel like need to grab and put in your mouth.  You love playing with Anya and being involved in whatever we are doing (Playing at the park, water table, throwing the ball back and forth, picnic, etc.)

You are my little chatter box.  I am amazed at the words you are saying, probably because you hear Anya talking and me talking to her.  The other day I watched you as you stood at the play kitchen set and you opened the refrigerator door and then you went to shut it and said "Shut the door".  I couldn't believe it!

Your best friend is Anya.  The way you look at her is adorable.  You always have a smile on your face when she talks to you.  Sometimes you look to her to for attention, and when you two catch eyes you light up!  It's the cutest thing ever!  She makes you giggle so hard...I love it!

You continue to be a very happy baby.  When I put you down at night you take your bottle {you stopped nursing a few weeks ago} and you transition well to your bed.  It amazes me.  I will never forget how easy of a baby you are and HAPPY!!

You eat very well, just like Anya did.  You eat just about everything we eat.  I'm convinced you think you are a big boy.  You still only have two teeth on the bottom, but I'm thinking you may be getting more because you've been "fussy" (compared to how you typically are).

Right now you have a cold...so last night  you woke up at 11pm, and 4am.  It was weird, because you never wake up in the middle of the night.  I'm not going to lie, I like rocking you in the middle of the night..  You are such a cuddle boy.  I can't get enough of it!

Well, in just two short months now you will be one.  I love watching you grow, and your amazing personality develop.  I adore you!

xoxo

Insta- May

It's JUNE ya'll...and that means SUMMER is officially here!  It's been a long winter...but we sure have had a nice start to June.

May was an exciting month for us.  Anya turned THREE!  Oh where, oh where, has the time gone?  She is definitely proving she's three now...everyday it's all about princesses, Elsa, asking "Why?" and being Mommy's little helper...and no more pull-ups at night!

It was my first Mother's Day celebrating with two children.  I am so blessed by God to have these
two little miracles.
My heart is full!
Mother's Day morning we went to church, and afterwards we ate outside at Panera for lunch (gorgeous day!) Josh went grocery shopping while the kids napped.  I got a special delivery on the porch from Josh..a beautiful spring bouquet of flowers.  We decided to grill outside for dinner but it started to rain, so Anya and I decided it would be fun to run outside in the rain.  Best. Memory. Ever!
Oliver started standing up while holding on to something.  He's growing up so fast!

Anya decided to add a bottle of cinnamon to our pancake breakfast.  Smelled like handmade Christmas ornaments in our house!
We found a new neighborhood park that we love that's in walking distance from our house. We have had a few picnic lunches there.  Anya LOVES going to the park.  And Oliver thinks he such a big boy when I let him stand (while I hold) on the steps.  It's adorable.

Josh filmed a video for our church service at one of our favorite coffee shops "Graham's 3:18" so we ate lunch and gelato afterward they filmed outside on the porch.
Camping in Brown County over Memorial Day was a blast.  Here's a picture of Anya eating "Elsa" ice cream with Daddy.
 Katie and I kicked off our flea market season last weekend.  We had a great turn out and it went really well!  It was so hot, we were grateful for our tent!

We also found out my niece is going to be a BIG SISTER!  We couldn't be happier!

June is a big month for us.  We move mid-June into our *studio* apartment as we wait to see what where God leads us.
Prayers for the move and transition would be greatly appreciated!
Happy June!
